EVANSTON, IL
In this house in Evanston’s Lakeshore Historic District, we removed a very 1970’s kitchen and decrepit back porch and provided a new family-oriented kitchen with strong links to the back yard. The on-grade mudroom allows good flow to the outdoors and to the basement. Finishes and fixtures were chosen to maintain the house’s vintage quality. A full insulation retrofit and remodeled master suite left the house comfortable and complete for many years to come.
